Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 7, 2026 · Ayriq Technologies

MCCQE1 Master Command Center ("the app") is built by Ayriq Technologies to help physicians prepare for the MCCQE Part 1. This page describes what personal information we collect, why, who it is shared with, and how you can access, correct, or delete it — in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

  • Account information — your email address and a hashed password. We never store your password in a readable form.
  • Profile information — the details you enter during onboarding: your name, age, country of medical qualification, medical school, graduation year, and study preferences. This shapes your study roadmap and is never required beyond what that purpose needs.
  • Study activity — your answers, scores, time spent, and progress across the curriculum, exams and error bank, so the app can track your readiness and never repeat a question you've already seen.
  • Payment information — handled entirely by our payment processors (Stripe, and Google Play Billing on Android). We never see or store your card number; we keep only the subscription status and identifiers those processors give us.
  • Device information — for the Android app, a device label and a securely hashed access token, so you can be signed in on your phone without your password being stored on the device.

How we use it

Solely to operate the app: authenticating you, tracking your study progress, generating your baseline diagnostic report and study roadmap, processing your subscription, and improving the accuracy of the curriculum over time. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Third parties we share data with

  • Stripe (payment processing) and Google Play Billing (Android subscriptions) — receive what is required to process your payment. See their own privacy policies for how they handle it.
  • Google's Gemini API — your baseline diagnostic answers and onboarding profile are sent to Gemini, a Google AI service, to generate your personalized strengths/weaknesses report and study roadmap. This means that specific content crosses to Google's infrastructure for processing. We do not send your email, password, or payment information to Gemini.
  • Our hosting provider — stores the database this information lives in, under a standard hosting agreement.

We do not otherwise share your personal information with third parties, and we do not sell it.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account exists. Billing records are retained after account deletion where a payment processor relationship reasonably requires it for financial and legal record-keeping — this record is no longer linked to an active account once you delete yours.

Your rights

You can access and correct your profile information at any time from within the app. You can permanently delete your account — your profile, study progress, subscription record, and error bank — from the Dashboard's Account settings, which asks you to re-enter your password to confirm since this cannot be undone. If you would like a copy of your data instead, or have any other question about how your information is handled, contact us at the address below.

Security

Passwords are hashed, never stored in plain text. Session cookies and Android access tokens are stored securely and are never readable by the app's own JavaScript. All traffic to the app is encrypted in transit.

Children's privacy

This app is intended for physicians and medical trainees preparing for a licensing exam and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
